Apparently, our doctor is poor

V had to get immunized in order to register for Kindergarten. While waiting in the doctor's office, he started to get nervous about the whole getting shots thing. I tried to cheer him up by saying that perhaps he would get some cool band-aids. Unfortunately, the doctor only had the boring brown ones. After the doctor left:

V- "Why didn't she give me the cartoon band-aids?"

me- "Maybe she didn't have any."

V- "Maybe she doesn't have enough money to buy the cartoon ones."

me- "Maybe."
