The boys had a lot of fun, and V spent his time planning R's birthday party. It got more elaborate by the second. He wanted to make R a giant rainbow dragon birthday cake with spikes (that you could make by wrapping pine cones in fondant) that said UAB. He thinks that because R goes to UAB, then dragons should be his favorite and everything should say UAB. The rainbow colors were for V. Anyway, that was just the cake, you could imagine what he thought up for the rest of the party.
We all had fun. V found a giant leaf and C didn't want to go home. Here he is refusing to move once he saw the exit:
We watched goldfish for awhile. C could sit there and watch them for hours.
On our way home, we picked up a hitchhiker:

Once R got home, the real party could begin. The boys were so excited, they couldn't wait to open presents and eat cake.
Unfortunately the cake didn't meet V's high standards. I had little time and could only find black food coloring. It tasted good though.
